We love what we do
Our approach
Sustainable use of materials has targeted the idea of dematerialization, converting the linear path of materials (extraction, use, disposal in landfill) to a circular material flow that reuses materials as much as possible, much like the cycling and reuse of waste in nature. We have tried to adapt a similar approach while developing our end product.
Our main aim was to design for product reincarnation, and transform recyclable and recycled content – by using handmade paper in the manufacturing processes and also by developing new markets for our products
ECO-TEXTILE
Our fabrics are produced in an environment conscientious process. Keeping the SDG’s in mind every process is completely hand done, with minimal use of electricity thus saving energy at every level of progression.
PAPER FABRIC
Discarded paper is given a new life by transforming the paper shreds into fabric by spinning and weaving
How we do it
Our USP is hand spinning and weaving of handmade paper, newspaper waste and create products from these fascinating hand woven paper fabrics. Handmade paper and Newspaper are cut into strips then hand spun, using charkha, by the local women trained to create quality paper yarn.
RECYCLE
Recycling is a rationale way to conserve forest resources, reduce demands on other natural resources and ecosystems, and still meet human needs for wood-based materials.
UPCYCLE
We have cradle to cradle approach, that is-when a product reaches the end of its lifecycle, it can be reborn into new and perhaps completely different product.
