Ephemeral to Tangible – 2017

Art and Design on the contemporary front have a new role to perceive and preserve the existing in a new light, especially in the context to the material and resources.

Materials have always played a key role to define the forms of art and artists have always played with them to overcome their natural forms creating the intangible essences.

Here too, in the forms of eternal light, we see this process of transformation of the material leaving its ephemeral nature to a form of strength.

I connect this process of the transformation of the material to a very philosophical context. Looking at it as the circle of life, where the karma defines the existence of the soul in this eternal world and thus the process of creating a tangible from the ephemeral where in the trash of paper is reborn into usable forms…..
